Contact, the magazine published by the University of Dundee, has just been released and contains an article on the events organised by Museum Services to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Professor Sir D’Arcy Thompson. Many of the items in the University's Zoology Museum were collected by D’Arcy Thompson, who was appointed to the first Chair of Biology in the new University College Dundee in 1885. The picture on the cover of Contact is of the University's first Zoology Museum, created by D’Arcy Thompson during his time in Dundee. You can read Contact online here.
